Unc Learning Management System- The University of North Carolina at Greensboro (also called the “University”) owns and runs the computer and phone networks, as well as other tools and equipment that help it do its academic and administrative work. These materials can only be used in ways that are allowed by federal, state, and school rules and policies, as well as any laws that apply.

This guideline is meant to make sure that all laws, rules, and regulations are followed when the University uses Learning Management Systems (LMS).

This rule refers to any LMS that doesn’t already have an approved rule in place. This policy must be followed by all rules about learning management systems. UNC Launches My Learning

Carolina Talent opened My Learning on July 28, 2020, as a branch that would give and oversee Training. The Equal Opportunity and Compliance Office, the Office of Human Resources, and LinkedIn Learning all offer training classes that can be accessed through this platform. With more than 5,000 training materials now available, My Learning wants to be the main place where everyone at the University can find learning chances.

My Learning is very simple to use, but you should start by going through a quick lesson on the basics. You can do this by going to My Learning and clicking on Training or by clicking on the link in My Learning.

When you use LinkedIn Learning and My Learning, make sure your pop-up blocker is turned off, as they may do so. Also, remember to turn off the filter for each browser you use.

You must first register your account through the ITS so that the Training you did through LinkedIn Learning shows up on your My Learning transcript. There is only one way to start a LinkedIn Learning course, and that is through My Learning. Start the course from LinkedIn Learning if you do not want it to show up on your record.

UNC app store system offers solution to centralized LMS woes

All 17 campuses in the University of North Carolina System are switching to an “app store” approach for instructional technology. This will give college administrators more control over the technology used on their campuses.

Campus Technology talked to Matthew Rascoff, who is the system vice president of learning technology. Rascoff said that teachers should have more control over the tools they use in the classroom and that standard learning management systems (LMS) “hinder rather than enable digital learning.” 

Rascoff thinks that the new plan will make things more efficient and help them learn more about what works and what does not.

Canvas has very little to no downtime for maintenance and feature updates, and all UNC users can get help by phone or chat 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Carolina Print Hub, which used to be called CCI Printing, gives UNC students, faculty, and staff access to more than 70 print units spread out across campus. People can print from their laptops, smartphones, or other mobile devices by going to mobileprint.unc.edu. They do not need any special software. People can print in black and white or any other color. People who work for the University or are affiliated with it and speak Onyen are also welcome to use Carolina Print Hub, but it is mostly for current students. Students who have signed up for the current session or semester are given a print allowance that they can use at any Carolina Print Hub location.
